In recent years, different University try their best to realize the conversion ofinformation system in every field, but the learning management of Boustead College ofTianjin University of Commerce is still not complete. The Student Course Managementartificial huge workload of various types of management personnel at all levels, theexisting educational management system for students to choose courses constraints andefficient management cannot be achieved, resulting in the students to choose the courseof the situation and many other issues. With the school enrollment continues to expand,the problem is a serious impediment to the development of the college and, thus, how touse Internet technology to build a well-established online course management system isessential for the development of the college.This thesis aims for college students enrollment management problems, mainlyresearching on research WEB-based online course system design and implementation.The system, in the main design features, has five major sub-function modules, followedby the maintenance of basic information, system maintenance, course-relatedinformation management, comprehensive statistical analysis and management ofelective courses. Through the design and implementation of functions module above, ithas scientific and standardized management workflow of student enrollment, whilereducing the work pressure management to enhance the students’ learning efficiency andteaching quality. System in Java as a front application development process, uses UMLUnified Modeling Language for system analysis and design description, based on Struts+Spring+Hibernate framework combined with JSP technology, selecting B/S modefor system development. Meanwhile, the elective system and performance management,teaching project management, examination system, Curricula and other educationalsystem has a good interface to communicate information to each other, in order to formthe final network, integrated and intelligent integrated foundation EducationalManagement Information System.Overall, the successful implementation of the system, from the reality of academicwork in academic departments, effectively solves the semi-artificial way repeatedproblems in handling student elective enrollment, screening, secondary enrollment, suchas a published list of electives series cumbersome processes to help specific management personnel from the complex and lengthy work of liberation, to improve theefficiency of educational administration and quality management to make the Senate apaperless operation and standardization of modern management.
