Design And Implementation Of Public Elective Course Management System In Colleges And Universities

Due to the development of information technology and economic, the application of the computer and network become more and more popular, with the continuous increase of government input to the school becoming an information based society, the construction of the campus network won the unprecedented development, the network has gradually penetrated into all levels of school management and teaching.The university public elective course management system is such a system that can help students to exchange information between the school and the students. This paper mainly aimed at in public elective course management system, the design of reasonable and efficient information management system, including: course setting, students course selection, course arrangement, course feedback, performance management, teacher management, data statistics, etc. function. The system is divided into three modules: landing module, the front desk management module, the background management module. System is divided into three users, administrators, teachers and students. Administrator for the highest authority, the teacher for the first level of audit and query the right, students only query and feedback. The background management module is responsible for the management and the change by the manager. The front desk operation management module is carried out by the teachers and students.This system is based on Browser/Server(Browser / server) structure and language JAVA and MYSQL database and TOMCAT as the server development.
