This thesis discusses analysis on gas selling operation of gas company by usinginformation-based technology, and reducing the workload and error probability resultedfrom traditional processing mode by using the advantages of computers and networks.Meanwhile, all of the sales and distribution data are managed by the computers, and dostatistical analysis, further processing on data, intelligent decision-making etc.The maincontents:1. To analyse the main business application of Gas: as the main businessapplication sales distribution management system, including customers, inventory, sale,dispatching, scheduling, money-taking, etc. The operation of Hand-hold Terminal willeventually be backed to the main business applications.2. To research Hand-hold Terminal application: the part of the application will runon Hand-hold Terminal, the customer complete the gas cylinders, delivery receiptbusiness operation at the customer site or remote by the hand-hold devices.3. To research service interface: supply communication services between mainapplication and hand-hold devices, and car GPS terminal equipment.The purpose is easyto extend and reduce coupling among main business applications.4. To research basic platform: the development platform supplies serviceindependent abstract common function, and introducing the development platform forits function that can be run stably is verified in several business applications, and canreduce the focus on the development of abstract common function, it can improve thedevelopment efficiency.5. To research the whole system structure: the whole development of system andapplication function are integrated into the security system and maintenancemanagement system of operation, to ensure the development of the application is safeand reliable, to ensure the development of various applications can be run normally.Based on the above research, this thesis has put forward the overall technicalprinciples and pointed out some technology selection at first. Then introduced thesystem requirements analysis and design, and all modules have been designed andimplemented. And then given the database design, business process description and thekey implement code for important module. Finally enumerated all the important modules of the test cases and results.
