The Research Of Web Services Applied In Multilevel Network Operation And Maintenance Process Management Interface

Network operation and maintenance is one of the main production and management function for the telecommunications operators,it's an indispensable part to guarantee the network and business normal,safe and effective operation.How the operation and maintenance system constructed would have a direct impact on the overall cost,management level and service level of telecommunications operation.With the rapid development of the domestic telecommunications network,the network's scale expanded,the network's function enhanced and the network's complexity increased gradually.How to build an effective platform to regulate the business process of different departments and increase the work efficiency has become a issue that the telecommunications operators concerns. The Electronic Operation and Maintenance System(EOMS) can make the operation and maintenance work process,automation and standardization,impove the work efficiency.The construction of the EOMS at present still have some isssues which effects the operation and maintenance work and need to be further analyzed the reasons and solved.In this paper,firstly analyzes the current construction of the EOMS, and finds the key problems as well as their reasons. Based on the principle of maintenance centralization, the paper proposes to establish two synthesized EOMS platforms of two levels for group corporation and provincial branches respectively and use interface technology to connect them so as to accomplish the central management of different specialties in one platform and the support of closed-loop business process from group to provincial.The paper explains why choosing Web Services as the inteface technology for EOMS after comparing it with some other technologies.According to the analysis of the business process of the operation and maintenance work , the paper finished the definition and description of the interface service and it's implement. At last, the test results from the trial priod of the system were analyzed to identify deficiencies and make some proposal for it's improvement.
