Sales Management System Design And Implementation

Based on the requirements of the current users, the purpose of this project is tobuild a management system which can manage orders and stock. This system is basedon Browser/Server model, and it’s develop tool is Visual Studio2005.Use WindowsWorkflow Foundation tool,which is a part of Microsoft.NET Framework3.0，todevelop workflow. And I select Microsoft SQL Server2005as a database server. Ialso use programming language C#to implement every function of the system. Thefunction of the system consists of add of contracts, order and batch informationmaintenance, withdrawal and completion of orders, warehousing, inventorymaintenance, users’ information management and rights management. The main usersof the system include administrator, sales and ordinary users. The emphasis anddifficulties are how to establish and realize of the inventory management workflow. Oneof the benefits of workflow technology is it can easily express the natural businessprocess. This system used the state machine workflow in the inventory managementmodule; integrate technologies of workflow, ASP.NET and ADO.NET to achieve theflexibility of business processes in inventory management.This thesis describes the overall framework design of the system and the DemandAnalysis. It introduces the design which how to implement every function of the systemfor detail. On the other hand, it also introduces the design about database and the keytechniques that we use to implement the system, including the Microsoft SQL Server2005database management technique and develop tool Visual Studio2005. In particular,the thesis introduces focus the emphasis and difficulties of the system, and my mainmethod of solving the problem.The system can reduce the user’s busy work in contract and inventory management,improve office efficiency, to achieve the purpose of saving time and avoiding the wasteof resources.
