Networking, informatization education has become the developing trend of moderneducation with the development and popularization of Internet. It is playing anincreasingly important role in the development of education because it is not only theauxiliary means of teaching but also the indispensable new technology and integrationof other disciplines. The remote network education has been widely applied in socialand school education with the development of Tele-course, Moodle, Network OpenCourses, MOOC and the social demand for education diversification.Testing approach, as an essential element for students’evaluation, has become animportant research topic in network learning. The overwhelming reason for a lot ofonline examination system being developed is because that these systems are paperless,can be accessed at anytime and anywhere by the users.The thesis discusses the design and implementation of the Sun Yat-Sen MemorialMiddle School Online Examination System. This paper first presents a thoroughanalysis on the architecture and developing technology of a variety of onlineexamination system applications. This paper proposes a special design approach ofonline examination system based on the JavaEE framework which is a typicalapplication of the B/S architecture. Online Examination System at the design stageusing SOA framework and service providers, service registration and service usessoftware model to design the system framework. The combination of MVC+DAOapplication design patterns and SOA is used to the system’s business logic design. J2EEstateless EJB component as Web Service for exam service processes is applied to buildSOA. The XML technology is used to achieve exam interface intelligent formsworkflow. The paper focuses on implementation processing of the administrator usermodule, the online exam module, exam management module, paper managementmodule, the student management module, performance management module based onframework design. Online examination system is developed and met user’s businesslogic needs.The Online System can automated complete its teaching function and testing taskswhile making effective use of hardware and software resources of the campus network.This system not only can maximize effectiveness and objectivity of the exam but also can achieve exam objectivity, notary, automated test paper generation and markers, as aresult of which can reduce the intensity of teacher’s job.
