Wireless Network Management Software, Automated Regression Testing Technology And Its Application

With the popularity of wireless networking product applications, the quality of wireless network management software becomes more important. In the light of the engineering, we bring the automated regression testing of software into WIFI network management software testing. And we deploy a real application environment to evaluation.The main research of this paper is automated regression testing of software. There are including analysis of the relationship between the manual software testing and automation testing, the characteristics of software testing and analysis of the test objectives at different levels. Then, we come to the conclusion if we want the effective application of automation to the software testing process, we must comply with guidelines for automated test, analyze the design and development of automated regression testing framework, clear in order to achieve modular and reuse scripting that we must develop the automate script based on the characteristics of software, analyze the test system and then obtain the improvement method of software testing process and so on.We proposed a automated regression testing model of wireless network management software. Model includes test script developers, test script execution personnel, test plans, test tools, test scripts, test engine, test reports, measured entities and so on. Experiments have shown that the model substantially reduces the burden of manual testers and the human negligence errors, improve the testing efficiency, and can work long hours. In addition, the number of bug is as much as the manual testing and the model has a75%coverage rate.
