Design And Implementation Of Hospital Laboratory Information System

Nowadays, information-based medical service is the main direction all around the world. As the information techniques develop rapidly, more hospitals in our country begin to actualize the general construction starting with informaion system like Laboratory Information Management System to improve the service level and competition. Therefore, the combination of medical operation applications and basal network system is becoming the new information development direction in the hospitals of our country, especially the big ones.This paper combines the construction of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University Laboratory Information System (LIS),in careful analysis of the the laboratory information system based on actual demand, establishes the overall objectives of system, build and design the overall framework of the system, architecture, functional programming, database design,and then detailed design and implementation of the sub-modules LIS system. The system has offered more effective system support for the laboratory work. All the processes including laboratory test application, sample collection, sample check, online test, report check, and report sending have achieved automatic laboratory information management and reduced artificial error. Meanwhile, through the connection with HIS system and data sharing around the hospital, the professional ability of the laboratory has completely exerted which has offered more effective assistant diagnostic services for the clinical department.
