As private universities expand, the number of college graduates is also growing,which imposes greater challenges on the Employment Guidance Department of alluniversities. Thus, it is an important task facing the Employment GuidanceDepartment of private universities to establish a “green channel†linking graduates,universities and the employing units for tracking services.So far, there are26private universities in China. The employment informationapplication system of private universities is relatively weak. In this paper, we take“Hunan International Economics University employment information Systemapplication research†as an example.The essay first analyzes the development of employment informationization andthe development of employment information application system both home andabroad. We put forward the concept of tracking services according to the employmentsituation of our school, and adopt the employment information system based on theB/S three--layered mode, which is made possible by the combination of ASPNETtechnology and SQL Server2005data base. This mode simplifies the system andenables it to be well maintained and extended. As a result, it becomes more flexible.The feature of this information system is the thoughts behind its design—toprovide services for information management system and college graduates in ouruniversity, to establish a tracking service system for our graduates, and to use the webtechnology to set up a connection linking the employing units, graduates anduniversities so as to meet their respective needs. In this way, we will maintain a goodinteraction between schools and graduates, between graduates and employing units, aswell as between schools and employing units. All this will contribute to improving themanagement and performances of the Employment Guidance Department and morejob opportunities for graduate so that they will become more competitive. Moreover,this will lay a solid foundation for recruitment work of our school and for the careerof our graduates. Thus, the enrollment and employment work in our school may entera benign circle. |
