Mediacompetition broken the exclusive monopoly of information source, for the samenews, all the media can only exert "exclusive interpretation " to attract the audience.The traditional paper media should not only face the competition from thenewspaper industry, but also to bear much pressure from new media, if newspaperswant to get the cake of multimedia coexistence of media ecology and stand firmly,must exert the weapon—"content is king".Specifically, that is, we should respectthe authenticity of the news, but also add interesting，readable into news; Put thenews as a story, so as to mobilize the majority of the audience’s interest, in order tocultivate media faithful audience. We can see, the news story writing has beenincreasingly applied to the journalism practice of city newspaper, it is also provide areference path to our newspaper reports.This paper is divided into four chapters to discuss the storylized news of citynewspaper, the first chapter discusses the path and evolution of newspaper, from thedimensions of history traced back the development process of news story, summedup the early research situation of newspaper; Talk about the theory of the " newsstory" by domestic academia and points out that the individual believes that thecurrent research is still existing problems and shortcomings.The second chapter mainly discuss the causes of story news fromcommunication, Writing Cultural Studies and theory of mass culture, interpretingthe reason of story news in theoretical aspect. Through the comparative analysismethod, we distinct the conception of "news" and "story", on the former based andresearch achievement, we put forward the definition of "news stories reported".The third chapter is mainly discuss the story news phenomenon from four aspects: the structure of reported, selection of angle, expression and language fromof news stories, put the Chengdu area representative city newspapers as an example,combining the specific report examples to discuss the news story writing andapplication.The fourth chapter mainly discuss the same news which reported by twodifferent newspapers as a case, and do the writing criticism practice to storylizednews from the spatial mood, value orientation, mode of thinking and writing norms.At last, on the whole, we find out the reflection in news stories phenomenon,providing the new thinking, new direction to the reporting of our country, also payattention to the "moderate" principle of story news, hoping to provide a little help.
