RTP Protocol Analysis And Its Application In Intelligent Video Sensor

The increasing innovation of computer and internet technology, promote the development ofvideo surveillance technology to be digital, networked and intelligent. In use of computer visiontheory, the video content analysis technology with intelligent features can recognize and detectthe behavior of the monitor target scene.Video surveillance technology and TCP/IP networkmultimedia technology complement with each other, the transmission of video information of thelarge scale of data in a heterogeneous network environment is the key to the development ofvideo surveillance towards networking and intelligent. For the restrict that traditional centralizedvideo monitoring services cannot meet the new requirements that simplification, real-time andwireless, we study and design the intelligent network video sensor that based on the real-timetransmission/control protocol, combing to the actual research and development projects, and givean intelligent network video surveillance system design framework of the video sensor.This paper study in a deep-going way of the basic working principle of the RTP/RTCPprotocol, analysis and summarize its characteristics and application; with the way of RTP/RTCPtransmit video with H.264encoded video, we discusse the feasibility of intelligent network videosensor; we analysis the process of RTP video transmission, develop and port a software in sensorwith embedded Qt development libraries and x264video encoding library, to complete the totalsoftware design of the video sensor point. Meanwhile, we introduce the overall framework of theintelligent video surveillance system that use the video sensor, give the configuration ofhardware and software design of the video sensor, to acquire the operation and test of the wholevideo surveillance system.Finally,we give a summary of the work for explore further improve and perfect the work.
