"Heavenly Ingenuity - Weinan Ancient Architecture Exhibition" Display Program

There are about300existing ancient buildings and several important architectural sites in the city of Weinan, which including35national and42provincial key cultural relics protection unit. Coincides with the opportunity that the Weinan City is about to build a new municipal integrity museum,"Weinan ancient architecture exhibition" will be planned a part of the exhibition, which in order to show the splendid long history culture and the distinctive characteristics of geographical local culture.According to collect Weinan’s ancient buildings and the construction sites, this program divides these datas into seven kinds:the palaces, the city defense and public buildings, the temples, the religious buildings, the residential buildings, the bridges and other buildings. In all types of buildings, each building’s creation is sorted by times.The quantity and quality of material objects are limited by the immovability of ancient architectures, so the main showing methods are photos and models:photos reveal images, models reveal structures. In order to enrich the exhibition’s contents and interests, the program is going to use the methods of story scene rehabilitation,multimedia and audience participation. This exhibition aims at making visitors get to know the ancient architecture of Weinan City probably and gain perceptual knowledge at the same time.
