The Use Of Ancient Class Architecture In Museum Exhibition

The constructions of museums are divided into historical remains of ancient buildings and modern buildings. The designers of some modern buildings would consider the demand of display at the beginning. However, the other museums preferred to do display based on the existing old buildings to save funds, do architecture protection and speed up the constru ction. But these old buildings were unable to be completely meeting the actual needs of the exhibitions because they were not used as museums when they quilted at the beginning. As a result, these types of buildings can not completely meet the actual demands of museums; especially they can’t meet the demand of display.There are many museums of antique buildings to do display in Nanjing, such as Nanjing museum, Nanjing museum of the taping heavenly kingdom and so on. There are some problems after field survey of the four museum of ancient architecture in the use of display, there are some problems:first, the reform of old class building ontology elements is not reasonable, especially on the roof, beams, walls, doors, Windows and ground. Second, the old class architectural history and culture are not mined enough. Beside, they can’t make a perfect mix of the old buildings and the exhibit. In steadily, they make ancient buildings as just a passive exhibition place. Finally, they cannot make old class building internal and external environment be together. Also, it is a common phenomenon.After combining previous research results and the analysis of all of these museums, I find that there are many elements need to be improved:the transformations of antique class building ontology elements should be to the true. Also, they should take advantage of the roof, beams, walls, doors, Windows, ground to original state to show to the audience. Ancient buildings should be mix with exhibit further. They should not only develop its space utilization value, but also tap into its historical and cultural value and auxiliary items such as by setting the screen to change the spatial pattern, and use marginal space by "white fill"...
