With the development of wireless sensor networks(WSN),there are new opportunities and challenges, and many researchers are also committed to the research of WSN.A wireless sensor network is composed of many sensor nodes responsible for collecting data of interest. These nodes have limited energy and will not be replaced after deployment. Therefore, energy is the most important resource for a node because it is closely related to the lifetime of the network. In order to extend the network lifetime,it is necessary to introduce energy-saving technologies.Energy-saving data collection plays a huge role in maximizing the lifetime of the network. When using static sink to collect data in WSN,not all sensor nodes can communicate with it.Sensor nodes that are far away from the sink node need to be forwarded by other nodes before they can be sent to the sink node, which makes sensors near the sink node are overburdened, causing their energy consumption to be too fast, causing a network ”hot spot” phenomenon, and then further affecting network life. Therefore, researchers have proposed mobile sink node, which can balance network energy consumption to extend the network life. However, when the mobile sink node moves, the network topology between the sensor node and the sink is constantly changed, which will consume more energy and cause greater transmission delay.Static sink node can improve frequent routing changes and reduce transmission delays.Based on the consideration of the above factors, this paper proposes two schemes for collecting data by mobile sink nodes. One is to consider a mobile sink and a static sink together to collect network data;the other is to use grid partitioning and mobile sink to collect data.Energy-efficient data gathering plays a vital role in maximizing the network lifetime of WSNs.In data gathering, the mobile sink is able to balance the energy consumption between the sensor nodes and prolong the network lifetime, but when the sink moves, the route from the sensor node to the mobile sink will change frequently, which will consume more energy and bring greater transmission delay. The static sink can achieve low transmission delay, and the route will not change frequently.Based on the above consideration, this paper proposes an energy-saving routing scheme based on the cooperation of dual sinks(a mobile sink and a static sink). This strategy considers static sink to gathering data from the network center. The mobile sink moves around the static sink at a certain speed, stops at a fixed point, and collects data from sensors in the corresponding range. The theoretical proof and simulation results show that the OMASR strategy can improve energy efficiency and prolong the network lifetime by about 6 times, and can know the minimum speed of sink movement.Compared with the existing solutions, this method can greatly improve the network lifetime and reduce the corresponding transmission delay. In large-scale wireless sensor networks, clustering routing is very important. When there are too many nodes deployed, the network needs to be clustered to balance network energy consumption.Because of the selfishness of the cluster head node,it will cause an uneven distribution of data traffic, resulting in an uneven distribution of energy consumption. Therefore, this paper also considers the combination of grid partition and mobile sink node to complete data collection. The central idea of ?this scheme is to comprehensively consider the problems of node limited energy, delay in data collection and mobile sink path planning. After dividing the network into many areas of the same size, the mobile sink will move to a certain cell, and then collect the cluster head node data of all the grids, and then transmit the data to the base station.Select a new cluster head node(CH)based on the node energy remaining value. Each round of the mobile sink node will move to the cell with the closest grid head or the smallest energy residual value. The non-cluster head nodes in all cells will transmit data to the cluster head nodes in a multi-hop form.Reducing the number of data collection hops during data transmission by mobile sink node is helpful for balancing network energy consumption, extending network life, and reducing the path length of sink movement.
