Design And Implementation Of Audiovisual Materials Management System Based On MAM Technology

With the development of digital television technology, increasingly diverse needs of audience. Because the traditional limitations of tape management technology, a lot of historical tape quality deterioration is occurring, or even disappear, in addition to find it is quite time-consuming and laborious, this is an extremely serious problem. This backward asset management approach greatly hindered the development of today’s radio and television broadcasting. Therefore, the promotion of media asset management system is imminent.Firstly, the thesis describes both at domestic and foreign MAM system development, and then starting from the actual project, the existing MAM (Media Assets Management) architecture, based on a detailed business needs to collate and summarize and existing MAM (Media Assets Management) process has been studied and improved, the final design and implementation of a set of audio and video for my station data management system, and successfully passed the system demonstration and testing. Completed the following tasks:(1) The thesis completed the preliminary investigation and analysis of the systems, as well as the comparative analysis of the system parameters and selected, and made the basis for equipment selection and storage formats to choose.(2) The thesis completed the audiovisual materials management system’s overall design, including warehouse subsystem, catalog subsystem, retrieval subsystem, storage subsystem, a total of eight subsystems.(3) The thesis completed the audiovisual materials management system construction work, which focuses on the warehouse system implementation, and eventually completed the testing and validation of the system. In brief, the thesis based on the actual project situation presents a MAM (Media Assets Management) framework audiovisual data management mechanism, and designed and implemented a set of audio and video data management system that can effectively manage a variety of audio and video formats get information and make efficient reuse meet my desk for audiovisual materials usage requirements, and enhanced my desk interoperability between systems, for my editing station broadcast business management has an important significance.
