Research On Requirement Changes Management Of Information System

At present, the main factors relevant to the failure of most information system projects include the ambiguity and frequent changes of the customers’ miscommunication between researchers and customers and the deficiency of researchers’technical competence. Of all the factors, mismanagement of change requests takes main responsibility for the failure of projects’delay.In our country, there are few researches on change requests management of information systems, therefore, we mainly refer to methods and experience overseas. While different situation exist in different projects, different methods should be taken for them.In this paper, we analyze recent situation of the information system change requests management. Combining the requirements of change requests management mentioned in ISO9000, CMMI,6-Sigma, Prince2, we summarize the typical information system change requests management activity. The information system change requests management can be managed effectively by applying the right method of software engineering and tools of configuration management. This paper involves the following aspect:concepts of information system requirement, methodologies of change requests management, software development patterns and the usage of configuration management system. All the knowledge related can be used to a practical application, in order to obtain a suitable solution to the change requests management.Based on a practical project, this paper validates the effectiveness of proper use of change requests management approach, appropriate software development mode, and flexible configuration management system in a change processing. Apart from that, writer on account of the project executing processes summarizes the practical applicability of the change requests comprehensive impact assessment. And the combination of all the methods can reduce the cost and increase the efficiency and quality of information system project development.
