In the field of electronic warfare, radar as observe the enemy’s "window", its role is more and more important. With the innovation of radar jamming technologies, it requires electronic jamming equipment with higher performance. In terms of storing waveform radar the digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) has special advantages, which can realize high-fidelity signal storage, it generates an interference signal compared with the real radar signal with high enough coherence, DRFM has become a core component parts in modern electronic jamming equipments.In this paper, a type of DRFM in phased array radar as a research background, the key technologies used in DRFM were studied, and combined with the basic principle of delay sub-Nyquist, idea of applying sub-Nyquist technology to DRFM, design the intermediate frequency signal processing system, is used to deal with because of the development of ultra-wideband signal affect the performance of DRFM.In this paper, from the point of view of the radar interference basic principle of DRFM for DRFM applications in radar systems, launched a study on broadband DRFM in view of DRFM application in radar system, launched for broadband DRFM system research. Through in-depth study of DRFM system structure, designed a sub-Nyquist technology as the core of intermediate frequency signal processing system, and gives to the large capacity field programmable gate array (FPGA), high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) as the core of the specific hardware implementation scheme. Design, the idea of top-down design, completed from the system architecture to the underlying hardware circuit implementation of the detailed design process, analyzes the special design of the core module and gives the final used in circuit design. After completed the system hardware design, system software, to realize the whole machine test system, and gives the corresponding test and analysis results.
