Accurate measurement for wave-front aberrations of the human eye can effectively guarantee the quality of human eye vision after LASIK operation. In order to improve the detection accuracy of the Shack-Hartmann (SH) wave-front aberrometer of human eye, expand the dynamic range of wave-front measurement, and achieve accurate measurement of human eye wave-front aberration, a human eye aberration detection algorithem that selects the spot centroid detection window based on the marked watershed transform is proposed. For image of the SH spot array, using watershed transform make morphologic segmentation determine spot area; Using template matching select the spot centroid detection window and making spot centroid detection; Using wave-front average slope, the whole wave-front is reconstructed with Zernike modal. The simulation and experiment show that this method is more effective, compared with projection method, this method can expand dynamic range of wave-front measurement while improving detection accuracy of the SH wave-front aberrometer of the human eye and realize accurate measurement for wave-front aberrations of the human eye.
