| With the3G technology developed well and the smart phone popularized, more users tend to watch online video through the phone platform, streaming technology is used widely. There are some features regarding the transmission of streaming media, narrow network bandwidth, large fluctuation, interfering signal, and the phone has low processing ability and small memory, so the transmission of streaming media on the phone platform has the higher requirements. This paper has analyzed the features of streaming media transmission and the requirements of the QoS and the RTP/RTCP, introduced the standards of the video codec briefly, improved the existed additive increase multiplicative decrease congestion control algorithm, controlled the rate of sender’s RTP stream adaptively by the QoS information that feedback from RTCP, implemented the QoS guarantees of streaming media transmission. The simulation results show that the RTP stream jitter shrinks, the packet loss rate decreases and the bandwidth utilization rate upgrades by the improved algorithm. And research dynamic control of the buffer during transmission, to reduce the adjustment frequency of the transmission rate and the pressure on the server. |
