Research And Design Of An Ordering System Based On Zigbee Wireless Technology

Facing the realistic hotel food field competition increasingly intense, How to manage, raise working efficiency and improvement service quality vigorously has become the problem to be solved. And the one of crucial measurement which could solve these problems has practical established, advanced, efficient hotel food wireless ordering system. Based on ZigBee orders dishes system is a set of very good wireless order dishes system.This system includes three major parts:cashier’s PC management software ordering、 Kitchen Display、Coordination of ordering mobile phones and wireless components.This paper introduces that wireless communication between handing pos and in-out platform and the designation of keyboard hardware and function. IP-Link1270block provided by Helicomm inc. is introduced in this system to sending and receiving, which is controlled by external device. External device gives IP-Link1270configurations and operations through the UARTO interface by means of AT command or data frame. An IP-Link1270block has two working status:configuring stratus and data stratus. Before using it to wireless data sending-receiving, you must configure the block and get it in data stratus. Keyboard adopts the4×4matrix button, what the input method of key is selected is that on the contrary, ranks line exchange i.e. the France of turning input and export, two steps gets button key number. Every function of each button is designed by system needs. By setting the protocol between handing pos and server, we set the function of16buttons. Now this system can making your customer ordering, adding, canceling, urging, joining table, changing table at any time they want together with sending the personal favorite, and at last they can check the bill which is sent by sever. If the customer has his discount IP card, the system can send the discounted bill back to handing pos by sending the ID to server.
