Multifunction, miniaturization and lightweight of radar array is the important trend of phased array radar development. It brings huge challenges to radar design which requires the feed-network of radar completes not only microwave signal transmission from traditional radar array antenna but also feeds many other signals (such as beam steering instruction and power supply etc) from radar array. Based on RF multilayer print circuit, multilayer hybrid feed-network circuit does integrated design for RF, digital differential signal and power distribution network. Which effectively reduce volume and weight of radar feed network and increase the reliability of feed signal. That is one of the key technologies of modern radar synthetical feed network. This paper probes key making technology of multilayer hybrid feed-network circuit and does theoretical research and simulation analysis on key circuit design problems.Firstly this paper introduces the manufacture and technology of multilayer hybrid feed-network circuit. There exits huge different on the material selection and via-hole structure process from the traditional one. Then this paper also analyzes microwave feed-network, the base of hybrid feed-network circuit, researches the principle and characteristics of Wilkinson and Bagley power distributors which consist of power distribution/combination network. On the aspect of radar phase inversion realization this paper introduces many sorts of wideband180°hybrid ring which suit engineering application. It also emphasizes vertical interconnection structure on multilayer circuits and gives parameterized vertical interconnected3D-model which adapts for full-wave emulation and real test result through stepwise optimization on emulation model. Finally this paper discuses the design technology and principle of integrated digital differential circuit and power distribution circuit on multilayer hybrid feed-network circuit with examples.
