Multilayer ceramic microwave filter is a novel filter on the base of low temperature co-fired ceramic technology. Small size, low weigh and high working frequency are the characteristics of multilayer ceramic microwave filter, and it is now being employed in communication and electric products application.The main focus of this thesis is to develop a new designing method that can execute the designing of multilayer ceramic microwave filter.Firstly, the thesis analyses how to extract the capacitance and inductance matrix of multiple conductors in the homogeneous dielectric medium between two ground planes using the Fast Multipole Method (FMM). The result of this discuss indicates that FMM can solve the question by considering the image charges as additional sources. According to this conclusion, we can realize the designing about physics dimension that is needed in the designing method of field-circuit.Secondly, the thesis expatiates how to get equivalent circuit about all kinds of multilayer ceramic microwave filter that is strip lines configuration or LC configuration. And presents us the equivalent circuit that can aid us compute the concentrate parameters of multilayer ceramic microwave filter.
