| The information that the radars detect but can’t identify whether it is true or false, is named as unknown air situation by most foreign countries. It is the air information that can be detected by air surveillance radars, and be reported to the air surveillance intelligence center, but the radars can’t identify whether it is true or false. The unknown air situation can be generated by the enemy in malice, or resulted by the nature condition, equipment reason and man-made mistakes. Since the first air surveillance radar applied in the real battlefield in England in1936, the radar targets true-false identification have been accompanying with the radar development, and also promoting the radar technology innovation continuously, but it still is the unsolved puzzles in international radar technology field. The unknown radar air situation, in peace time, can bring the heavy pressure on national air defense system and all levels of command units, can make serious jamming on the normal operation training, and it will be utilized by the enemy probably to detect operation flow and reaction capability of our air defense system; in war time, it will make the command units feel hard to identify whether the target is true or false, and will deconcentrate the operation power, consume the operation resource, even lose the win-opportunity, so that it will bring the extreme damage to the national air defense security and safety.The article firstly classifies the different unknown air situation according to the generation principle, and makes abstraction and summary on the characters of the different unknown air situation; secondly, according to their different characters, proposes identification and suppression technology for unknown air situation from the point of the view of radar technology and tactical application; finally, based on the unknown air situation identification and suppression, this article makes summary on radar technology and give suggestions to development of radar system. |
