T/R modules are key parts of moden radars. In order to lighten T/R modules and match its thermal expansion, titanium alloy with high radio strength and lessthermal mechanical with ceraic material, is used to manufacture T/R module shells. Some important precision components, in order to meet the high specific strength, good corrosion resistance requirements must also be used titanium alloy material, such as the antenna of airborne radar base structure. The difficulties in the manufacture of the above two parts are the difficult points in the development of radars.Focusing on the T/R module shells and the antenna pedestal structure parts manufacturing process, the manufacturing technology of titanium alloy T/R module shells and the antenna pedestal structure are mainly studied.Based on the characteristics of the structure and process of the T/R module shells, combined with the process test research on cutting parameters, the cutting tools and the processing technology of titanium alloy shells, a reasonable and feasible machining process is developed; the thin-walled shell clamping calibration technology is studied, and then the problem of thin-walled shell clamping and correcting is solved; titanium alloy frame of gold plating process is studied, and the plating process parameters and coating quality inspection method, liquid composition is determined, and then cutting deformation technology research is completed; through the analysis on the quality problems during the production to find out the main factors that influence the processing of TC4titanium alloy sheet, and through the heat treatment method to solve the problem of processing of raw materials; through the determination of t he raw material supply condition to ensure the quality and reliability of this kind of parts.Based the structural characteristics of antenna pedestal structure, combind with the process experiment of the titanium alloy vacuum graphite casting technology and hot isostatic pressing treatment technology, the difficult point of casting about the top and down pedestal is resolved; study on the surface hardening of titanium alloys technology, the problem of surface hardening of titanium alloys is solved; study on the turning process of titanium alloy, the difficult point of manufacture about the top and down pedestal is resolved.Proved by actual production, the manufacturing process technology developed in this paper is efficient and reliable. The results of this research provide more choices for radar structure and process design, and can be widely applied to manufacturing the structure of radar product in many fields, such as airborne radar, shipborne radar and space-based radar shipborne radar.
