CAE technology is an important precondition for the development and improvement of modern manufacturing industry and the quality of its products. CAE technology is widly used for aluminum alloy wheel new product development in developed countries in the world nowdasys. In China, because of the limitation of design, technology and manufacture, it is at the static intensity, analogy, experience traditional design phase. Explore the CAE simulation technology in the aluminum alloy debelopment. Build up the CAE model and explore the structure FEA and die casting process simulation to a model of wheel. After that, make the product design and technology more reasonable. Finnaly reduse the development cycle and cost.Systematically analysed aluminum alloy wheel product structure and characteristic of mold design, and the advantage and feasibility of aluminum alloy wheel low pressure die casting technology.Explored the aluminum alloy wheel CAE analysis technology. Took the CAE modeling method and estimated the S-N curve without experiment data. Built the CAE modle of aluminum alloy wheel bending fatigue, radial fatigue and impacting by the following simulation software: Nastran, Fatigue and LS-DYNA and simulate. Compare the result of CAE analysis and the experimentation, they are matched well. Verify the validation of the CAE mechanical model and get a good effect in the practical production.Explored the key points of low pressure dia casting simulation of alloy aluminum wheel. Emphatically analyse the filling and solidification simulation of low pressure dia casting simulation of alloy aluminum wheel. Take the simulation by Magmasoft on one model aluminum alloy wheel. Show the method to predicting the defect. Use the criterions to find out the defects by the simulation result. After simulation, provide a certain evaluation to optimize the technology.
