With the further increasing of China’s economy, most of cities continue expanding, the urban population has increased dramatically. Public have more demand for traffic, which brought to transport operators a huge challenge, the traditional means of transport has become increasingly unable to meet the requirements of the people, developing the safe, comfortable and efficient transport is urgent. In recent years, China has decided to develop urban rail transport, particularly the application of the AFC system which makes the urban rail reflects the huge superiority, so it makes the public travel more conveniently. But, with the increase of urban rail lines, how to achieve interconnection between the various subway lines and improve safety factor has become an unavoidable problem, the system of monitoring of terminal equipment is to solve this problem.In this paper, the study’s background is the system of monitoring of terminal equipment about Suzhou Metro Line Two, it aims to develop a software system that can be capable of monitoring terminal equipment timely, querying data efficiently, operations management and other functions. In this paper, first describes the current development of the station monitoring system and future trends. Then the functional requirements of the system be discussed after needs analysis, according to needs analysis the division of functional modules be made. Using design patterns, object-oriented design principles, UML modeling and so on during the system design processing, then formulate development process. According to the development plan, using the C++language to develop the communication module, data management module, operation management module. Throughout the development process. Socket programming, SQL Server database management system technology had been studied fully. After the development, make the system integration testing, then the development of the software system is completed. Finally, through the software performance evaluation propose improvement program for the subsequent software development.
