According to the requirement of focus-coil for high power microwave canal, the high power-level invariable-DC magnetic power supply is needed. In order to improve the reliability of the high power-level invariable-DC magnetic power supply and satisfy the requirement of national defense arms with high power level, a60V/100A invariable-DC magnetic power supply is designed supported by the foundation of national defense.Based on the analysis for the development status and researches, the design progress of high power-level invariable-DC magnetic power supply is given. The interleaving two-transistor forward topology with LCD soft-switching technique is adopted for the power supply. The power supply scheme is analyzed and the designs of the control circuit as well as protect circuit are given. A prototype is set while experimental results are given and analyzed. The stability problem and precision of output current are analyzed as well. The high power level with low output current ripple and soft-switching is achieved.The experimental results verify that the stability of the power supply and the precision of the output current is99.2%. The performances of the power supply are superior to the ones of the national standard.
