Analysis Of Press Information System Construction Under The Background Of Digital Networks

In the background of digital networks, information technology haspenetrated into every field of the society, and only by keeping pace andspeeding up the construction of information systems, can enterprises comefirst in their development. The publishing institute is of course no exception.However, comparing with companies or institutes in other fields, the publishinghouses universally lag behind in the construction of information systems, andalso have no viable models for reference.This paper took the construction of the information system of the ModernPress as an example, and made an in-depth analysis of its internal andexternal information system construction, and also explained and analyzed thesolutions for system construction.Meanwhile, the paper analyzed the problems encountered in the processof system construction and accordingly explored viable solutions. Upon which,however, the exploration was extended to the information system constructionof the whole publishing industry, with an intention to generate positiveinfluence to the entire industry.The first chapter of this paper firstly defined the concept of the informationsystem construction of the press, and then elaborated the background andsignificance of the research.The second chapter made a SWOT analysis of the information systemconstruction of publishing houses, and described the intended strategicobjectives of the Modern Press in its construction of information system.Chapters III and IV respectively analyzed the construction schemes of theinternal and external information systems of the Modern Press, clarified theproblems existed before the construction of the information system, andaccordingly, identified the highlights and innovations of the schemes.The fifth chapter analyzed and summarized the information systemconstruction in Modern Press, and extended the experience to the entire publishing industry. And upon which, found out the problems exist in theindustry and accordingly, came up with solutions.At last, the paper came up with some prospects and suggestionsregarding the construction of the publishing information system, and madesome predicts for its possible trends of development, as well as preparationsneed to make and ways of seizing opportunities and facing challenges.
