Design And Implementation Of Settlement Information System On The Cooperation Of Hospital And Bank

With the development of the construction of hospitals informatization, the level of hospitals informatization is enhanced unceasingly. However, outpatient department as a high flow of patient in hospital, the phenomenon of patients queuing for registration, payment and taking medicine is everywhere. The problem of patient is difficult to receive medical treatment remains severe. So how to provide better services for patients, and to improve the hospital environment for patients, has been common difficult problems for a hospital. Relative to the problem of hospital, the middle market business of commerce bank is developed rapidly in recent years, each big commercial bank has a large number of business outlets and many self-service equipments. If we can make the fullest use of these resources and the cooperation of hospital and bank, the self-help registration and settlement etc. of patients may be realized, and the hospital work efficiency and work quality can be raised greatly at the same time.In this paper, the author points out the shortage of hospital outpatient service of traditional process by analyzing the traditional outpatient service medical treatment of patients, and puts forward the new outpatient processes named "the cooperation of hospital and bank", and the information system on the new outpatient processes was designed and developed. The system functions that designed include card management, recharging management, registration management settlement management, medical information query management and medical information report printing management. Through this system, patients may finish the self-help settlement for medical expenses and printing medical information themselves. The system was designed and developed by mature computer technology and network technology, the self-service terminals can communicate with HIS, and HIS can complete real-time settlement with the bank. The working efficiency of hospital is enhanced by using the system, and the pressure of the window is reduced also. It provides a good enough support for hospitals to improve the quality of service. The author gives full consideration to the original hospital HIS in this paper, designs the structure of the system cleverly, make full use of various resources of cards that patients have, and completes the self settlement cost function by using socket technology. The result of the system implementation shows that the system has friendly user interface and can be easy to use, the functions of the system are realized basically and doing well, the information system meets users’requirement and can operate constantly and reliably.
