Design And Implementation Of Chinese Traditional Board Games Based On FLASH

Chinese traditional chess culture goes back to ancient times and has a long history. It has condensed the quintessence of Chinese people’s wisdom and it is very popular among the masses. However, fewer and fewer people are good at Weiqi, Chinese chess, Gobang and some other traditional Chinese chess games. Nowadays, more and more people are interested in online games and single-player games, especially the young generation. But there are very few games enjoyable and educational which are suitable for the teenagers. This thesis implements the Flash technology to design the traditional Chinese chess games which takes full advantage of online games. It is not affected by factors such as space, territory, climate and not only limited to single face-to-face competition. Moreover, this series of games will attract the young generation, and get them interested in the traditional Chinese chess games and even fond of it. This will be a good contribution to the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.This thesis deeply researches and discusses from the aspects such as the developing trends, unique features of Flash games, the design and implementation of traditional Chinese chess games. Development environment, design approaches, relevant supported technologies and the realization of the human-agent game-playing and online multiple playing will be discussed in details. Regardless of the types of the games, there will be "restart","undo","start sequence setting","judge","result" functions. This series of games develop both the single-player and online multiple players chess games which are concise, easy operation, and very practical.This series of traditional Chinese chess games have many advantages such as easy operation, no need of installment, small file size. It can not only help the young generation keep away from the bloody and violent web games, but also help them to develop creative thinking. It guides them to analyze and solve the problems from different aspects, and is very good for the coordination of hands and brains. It is more attractive with its network function. With the competitiveness and entertainment of the games, it enables the youths to achieve the purposes of playing and studying at the same time.
