The information age of the21st century, database technology has been applied to various fields, especially in commercial applications. In the environment of information data explosion, the commercial information system requires more and more high to the performance of database such as stability, real time, expandability, etc. With the intensification of competition in the e-commerce industry. B2C e-commerce companies need to constantly update and upgrade the network business functions and processes of e-commerce system. In this process, it will bring about changes in data storage structure of the database of e-commercial system. Therefore, during the design of the database, it’s necessary to consider how to design the data structures in the database according to the real business entity, while at the same time to consider how to get rid of the shackles of the old database designment to adapt to the changing business requirements.In the case of unclear requirement, the traditional database design method is hard to organize the data, the designment from it could not become to be a commonly used data structure and with the bad data hierarchy. Once the designment of the data structure can not adapt to latest requirement, it will result in the project design cycle has to be lengthened, the code will not be easily reused as well as the vulnerability will not be easily make up, even the whole project is risk of passing by the board. However, if the database designment is scalable, it will largely make up for the lack of traditional design methods.To this end, the subject is based on the relational model in traditional database principle, with the main principle that in order to enhance the efficiency of database queries, researches many expansion mode of database designment, gives an anti-normalized database optimization method and puts forward a mathematical scoring model of optimization plans which come from the given optimization method. With the help of the model, it could find most optimization query plan of every requirement of the information system, consequently, it makes up the inefficient queries lack of the database extension. The subject uses the real B2C e-commerce company’s commodity data to be an example to do the empirical research after the theoretical parts, it further validates the practical value of database extension and optimization.
