Wireless sensor network(WSN) is different from the traditional network. WSN nodes are usually deployed in bad or special environment, therefore the nodes can’t replace or charge the battery. How to maximize the network lifetime by optimizing the distribution of the nodes has become the most important problem of the WSN.Current research on the energy consumption of WSN mainly focuses on the node density and coverage degree and other aspects, but rarely focuses on the effect of the node distribution and the degree of uniform distribution on communication routing, topology control and tracking algorithm. It should be taken into consideration that the life of WSN is not only affected by node density and coverage degree, but the uniformity of nodes’distribution is also an important factor, so this paper research on the effect of energy consumption of WSN based on uniformity.This paper studies the problem that the uniformity of WSN internal node distribution plays a decisive role in the whole network lifetime based on uniform design theory, the standard of the model of energy consumption is the ideal location which uses sparse deviation and dense bias as parameters, then uses the parameters to determinate the uniformity of distribution of the nodes in WSN. Through simulation experiment, according to the three different distribution pattern (uniform distribution, random non-uniform distribution, absolute non-uniform distribution) of the nodes, we analyse the energy consumption of the nodes in WSN, then calculate the total energy consumption in three cases of the network under the same covering condition and obtain the conclusion:in terms of the equivalent total energy of the nodes, the more uniformly the nodes of the WSN distribute, the less network energy consumption under the same coverage conditions is,and the longer the life of the network will be.On this basis,we put forward the Algorithm Based on Uniform Maximum Cavity Nodes Grid Moving in Wireless Sensor Networks,and this algorithm can improve the uniformity of the WSN,effectively reduce the energy consumption in the communication process.
