Under the traditional manual operation process, it will easily lead to low work efficiency,tedious work process, much more mistakes, for the material management, and it does not helpthe administrator to know the whole material running process, as well as the stock availability;also it cannot help for providing the proof to the decision making for the materialmanagement. The Design and Implementation of Material Management System can help tosolve above problems, and to enforce the informatization for material management.This essay is based on the need of the material management for GuangZhou Textile andGarment Vocational School, using the JAVA, STRUTS, HIBERNATE, SQL2008, etc.,these kinds of technologies, design and implement the Material Management System.It mainly contains below aspects:1. Analyze the background of development for Material Management system, combinewith the specialties and needs of our school’s material management, deeply analyze theproblems in the areas of material management both at home and abroad, propose a target withits distinguishing feature and high practical, and mainly analyze the goal this system willachieve.2. Study the operation process and functions of Material Management System, analyzethe management substance in the material management, and analyze the needs of the datawhich have to be marked down and showed up, to know what functions the system has toachieve. Based on the analysis of the operation process for Material Management System, itdivides the Material Management System into six parts: material warehouse, materialexhausting, material processing, query&statistics, basic information, and systemmanagement. Using the module design, function partition, cases analysis technology, casediagram, activity diagram, etc., such kind of UML, it can describe all the needs.3. Combining the needs analysis with the details of the system design, it can achievethe whole manage system, and introduce the using techniques; besides, it uses the way ofscreenshot of the system function, to explain the cored code and key techniques.
