| In recent years, Chinese apparel industry have encounter a bottleneck, which manifests a seriously high level of inventory. Besides the traditional order way, it is largely caused by the inferior information systems of the industry compared with it of many international brands. The application of RFID technology in international apparel enterprises proves that it can enhance the integration management of apparel supply chain, improve their productivity, reduce the cost of distribution and optimize the utilization of resources. However, to date, there are few apparel companies employing RFID in the supply chain in China. Therefore, it is of great necessity and importance to study the use of RFID system in Chinese apparel supply chain.This dissertation focuses on designing and implementing RFID in intelligent management of warehousing distribution of apparel supply chain. Firstly, the study analyzes the status quo of RFID application in apparel industry both home and abroad. Then, it introduces the related RFID technology concept, including the working principles, the RFID system, and the EPC frame. Moreover, based on the survey of apparel enterprises in Zhejiang province, the study concludes the main problems and defects of information system in the apparel supply chain, discuss the necessity of achieving intelligent management of warehousing distribution of supply chain, and sets the general goal of the management. Finally, the paper gives the way how to design and implement the intelligent management of warehousing distribution using RFID technology in which the process and the frame of intelligent warehousing distribution are firstly developed, and then the optimizing model of picking and distributing, the shortest distance, the best route and order. Meanwhile, combining the information integration technology of OLAP and CBR to support the intelligent analysis and decision-making on warehousing and distribution of apparel supply chain, its intelligent management will be realized. |
