Guangdong power grid has the vast territory and the enormous assets as thenation’s largest provincial power grid. Under the existing power system environment,how to effectively manage and supervise asset and achieve the comprehensive balanceof the usage reliability, usage effectiveness, usage life and the cost of enterprise assets.it is a test on the production and business operation ability to Guangdong power grid,itis also the core content for the industry to break through to create advanced level ofprovincial power companies.With the integrated management of the Estate Planning, Equipment procurement,Engineering construction, Production operations, Asset retirement and the whole lifecycle, the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)system can realize horizontal fusion ofthe project management, material management, financial management, financialmanagement and equipment management and the longitudinal connection of theprovincial company, the prefectural power supply bureau and county power supplybureau, furthermore, it also can achieve the comprehensive optimum of theReliability, Efficiency, Lifespan and the Life Cycle Cost of the asset. With theimplementation of asset management policy, business process, organization Structure,assessment and the other key elements of the product life-cycle management system ofthe asset, it could provide support of the information system for scientific and effectivemodern asset lifecycle management system construction and the realization of thetarget.This management system will cover all urban traffic system of the whole province,the security, realizability and the high-performance is a very important considerationfactor. This project will use cluster technology of the Application Server to providehigh-concurrent processing capacity and fault tolerance and it will use multiplepowerful database server to deal with data manipulation. The system use the loadbalancing function in the deployment architecture of the hardware, it not just play therole of load balancing, it also provide a convenient and efficient path for the expansionof the system and improve the reliability and the availability of the system.This system adopt the MVC model, the analysis and design of the system can beseparated with three layers: presentation layer, the business logic layer and the data layer, the presentation layer is mainly Struts framework, business logic layer is mainlyEJB container, data layer is mainly DataBase. This system adopt the technology basedon the WebService to realize the timing access function of the project managementsystem data index, this technology will allow the interactive with all systems of thenetwork.
