Multimedia teaching in the primary, most of their systems is the useof client-server connection mode, which is difficult to achieve the popularity ofmultimedia teaching mode, is difficult to realize the sharing of university resources, andthere is a maintenance difficulty, consumption costs and other issues, largely hinderedthe promotion of university multimedia system. To solve the above problems andphenomena, in order to better play the multimedia teaching in Higher Education in therole, very necessary help of advanced information technology, to develop a set ofteaching work to meet the needs of multimedia teaching management system.This thesis introduces the multimedia teaching based on WEB informationmanagement system design and implementation. First discusses the domestic andinternational research current situation and research of relevant technology, andaccording to the actual research and gives the system requirement analysis process,analysis system functional requirements and using UML use case diagram and data flowdiagram, detailed analysis of the system; Secondly, in the system construction principleand construction method of system under the guidance of the structure and moduledesign, based on this, gives the system database design; Finally, on the basis of previouswork on the system detailed design and implementation work, and to realize the moduleof the test verification, to ensure the system to achieve the goal of construction.System uses Microsoft.net platform ASP.NET technology, and at the same timewith the database management system SQL Server2005, develop a set of componentbased thought network multimedia teaching management system, the system use ofmultimedia network technology and distributed object technology, can greatly play toteachers’ teaching potential, students’ learning ability, thus for higher education add newvigor. Catalog system already online operation, the operation is stable.
