With the engineering of the solar water heater, the most important task is to ensurethe constant and healthy development of solar hot water project control system. As astandard to assess the quality of the control system, the measurement on the capabilityof solar hot water project plays a vital important role. As an equipment for long-termdetection of solar hot water project control system, the remote monitoring system is sureto be the key point to get the thermal performance under well control.The type of solar hot water project is different, including the forms of auxiliaryenergy, running by solar collector, combination of solar and auxiliary heat source meansetc., an uniform and fair method to measure and inspect the heat energy of solar hotwater project is needed exigently. To solve the above questions, we put forward a kindof remote monitoring system of the solar hot water project, which consists of datacollection terminal, remote data transmission and remote control terminal. This researchcarries out the accurate measurement on solar heating, heat load, power consumption,auxiliary heat source for the heat and the amount of circulating piping heat loss at longbowls.The effective measurement of the system energy depends on accurate detection onphysical quantities. Therefore, based one the BHL Solar hot water project, this systemdevelops five detection modules for the data collection terminal, which includesMultiple three-wire PT1000platinum resistance temperature detection module, Turbineflow detection module, pressure water level detection module, there-phase powermetering module and Heat-measuring detection module.The project develops a remote monitoring software for solar water heating systemsengineering aiming at solving two core problems: long-distance data transmission andlong-distance control of display terminal. Control of water circulation system, auxiliaryelectrical heating system, circulating water supply system, thermal cycle system, pipeinsulation system and constant temperature circulation system is implemented by thesoftware development. The focus is the design of long-distance data transmission, serialport receiving and Data storage when power supply drop from MODBUScommunication protocol.The project uses touch screen(HMI) as the display, realizes long-distance entering the Internet by the function of WEBSERVER and controls the operation conditions ofsolar water heating systems by operation interface of Windows.
