With the development of national information construction and fire-depthinformation, the number of video surveillance systems and fire protection servicesprovided by the increasing number of users, in order to ensure that fire managementdepartment of the video surveillance system stable and reliable operation, and globalintegration of video surveillance systems stable and reliable operation. In this thesis, thevideo surveillance system monitoring and software clients have been researched basedon the analysis and research.Firstly, the analysis of the development of video surveillance systems and videostorage characteristics, followed by an analysis of the concept of digital videosurveillance system, key technology and system development planning needs to solvethe problem; focused analysis of the video surveillance system video, image storagetechnology, introduction the technical characteristics of the video storage, managementcycle, solutions and implementation process, and describes the image processingsoftware development technology and the environment.Secondly, the goal of building the system is analyzed, followed by a videosurveillance system design, including the design goals, the overall structural design,functional design, network architecture design, focusing on the key technologies of thesystem design, the design of alarm transmission device, monitoring Manager system,alarm monitoring center workstations, network management and monitoring services, aswell as some auxiliary system functions, and to study the design of the videosurveillance system data storage scheme, based on the overall design and managementof fire safety features video surveillance system.Finally, the study of the system video monitoring module design, were designedvideo surveillance hardware, communications, monitoring network and monitoringclient’s design content; Subsequently, the design of video storage system module, thesystem’s video storage implementation, the basic data processing, Centralized storageand distributed storage design; Finally, the detailed design of video image processingfunctions, including the image read, contrast adjustment, grayscale, edge strike,binarization, trajectory mapping and other functions, to image processing, clientacquisition analysis and image processing implementation. In short, the fire safety video surveillance system is enabled, and promote thesocialization process of fire prevention, fire agencies to improve the supervision of lawenforcement capacity and service levels, to prevent the occurrence of fire safety,building a harmonious and safe society has a very important significance. Paper for firesafety video surveillance system design and research, to improve the fire safety of urbaninformatization construction has a certain value.
