City landscape water is polluted by different levels, due to water sourcescontaminants and man-made destruction. Therefore, a dynamicwater quality monitoring, evaluation and predictionmethod is required by the environmental departments, to grasp the water quality changing trend, in order to control the pollution degree. At present, a traditional analysis method is still adopted in our country, while it always leads to testing data lag, delaying processing of huge testing data, and disunity of calculation and evaluation methods. As the growing social requirements of environmental protection can not be satisfied by the traditional monitoring and evaluation methods, a new method of monitoring, evaluation and prediction of the important pollution source water quality by computer technology is already imperative.Aiming atthe landscape water status of Shanghai Expo Bailianjing river,five influence factors on water quality, such as chemical oxygen demand,biochemical oxygen demand, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, and dissolved oxygen are analyzed.A data acquisition analyzer more reasonable is chosen, based on gray model GM(1,1) theory, a model is built to design and realize the analysis and prediction of the water quality by computer.Landscape water monitoring and evaluation software based on grey model uses Java technology and the C/S structure in the realization of technology, taking SQLServer as its database and MyEclipse as development tools. Five functions are realized in one system:system management,data management, data analysis, water quality evaluation and water quality prediction. In these functions, the system management module mainly realizes the user login, user information management, password modification and the main interface design. Data management module mainly realizes the management of all kinds of data in the database, and the functionto increase, delete, change and check the data according to the difference of the roleauthority. Data analysis module mainly realizes the data displaying and analysis, aiming at different sections, different monitored objects and different monitoring date, by means of histogram and line graph form, etc. Water quality evaluation module mainly carries on evaluation of the monitored water quality data,which is composed of the evaluation of water quality influenced by single monitored material and comprehensiveevaluation of water quality influenced by all the monitored material. Based on the grey theory GM(1,1) prediction model,mathematical model for the monitored data is set up by water quality prediction module to judge the accuracy and predict the development condition of the water.The system is confirmed complete and reliable for the project requirements according to the test result. This system is progressive in technology and can be easily operated. It can provide reliable water quality evaluation and prediction services for various enterprises and institutions.
