University logistics management departments undertake important responsibiliti-es to educate people by management, service and environment. With logistical socialization reform in universities, its management needs to gradually achieve standardization, socialization and specialization. In order to achieve unified planning and rational distribution of all logistic resources, building a perfect logistics management information system is more and more urgent. In this paper, I have carefully studied all current kinds of logistic management information system in colleges and universities, further analyze its development prospect and, combined with the present situation of our school logistic informationization, put forward the construction of a logistics management information system based on J2EE architecture.With a thorough study of our present logistic management situation and careful research of the actual research logistic management demands, design and implementation of university logistics management information system based on J2EE in colleges and universities is finally accomplished, using Java as development language, Eclipse as the development tools, SQL Server2000as backstage supporter’s database, and such lightweight open source framework as iBATIS, Spring, Struts, etc..Main work is introduced as below:(1) First I discussed the key technology of J2EE this system adopted, analyzed the technological advantages, researched distributed multi-layer application model, and deeply studied the more popular framework integrating technology--SSI (Struts Spring and iBATIS).(2) I researched all kinds of information management system development patterns (C/S, fusion Web technology of C/S and B/S), formulate the design principle of this system, adopt B/S structure as the development model of this system and eventually put forward the integrated design of this system, including division of system function structure based on the system requirements and business process, design of the overall structure and each layer explained in detail. Database design of this system is demonstrated in turn from requirement analysis, concept design, logical design, and physical design, etc.(3) Detailed design of this system is introduced, covering the running environment and development tools. Design system of each layer and the coding implementation within the framework of the system development are also achieved.(4) Associated Apriori algorithm is applied in data analysis and decision making, etc.. In accordance with the actual data of system and the improved Apriori algorithm, data mining analysis is accomplished.(5) Conclusion is drawn. Work in this paper is comprehensively summarized, aspects that need to be improved are concluded, and further improvement suggestions and prospects are put forward.The university logistics management information system this paper designed and implemented has the following features:(1) Using the Java language and J2EE technology in developing, the system has the characteristics of high reliability, portability, and cross-platform, etc.(2) Adopting distributed multilayer distributed model to reduce coupling, developers can collaborate, which is advantageous for the system development and maintenance, hence the scalability of system maintainability improved.(3) Combining with the actual demands of data analysis and decision making in this system, the improved Apriori algorithm can save manual analysis time and policymakers’ work, and improve management and decision-making ability in university logistics.
