Design And Application Of Networked Import Sorting System Based On The Mail Address

Sorting dispatching is one of the most important functions of postal center office. Sorting data is the main basis of sorting dispatching operation. Automatic sorting equipment is based on zip code for sorting and manual sorting is based on address.Due to the increase development of urban construction and the substandard utilization of zip code, the postal code is hard to meet import sorting manufacture demand. The postal department was forced to adjust the import mail sorting process and manual-addressable work increase sharply. With the increase of labor cost, the revolution such as improving mechanization and automation level of postal enterprises, controlling total employment, is of great significance. Postal enterprises need to develop a set of networked import sorting system based on mail address.The main idea of import mail sorting system is to establish the entire network unified import sorting system with information technology based on the actual characteristics of sorting operation. And then meet the demand of automatic sorting and manual auxiliary sorting of center office in present stage as well as employ import sorting data real-time dynamic updating method and share entire network in order to improve sorting depth, speed up the mail delivery and enhance the management level.The main contents and results of Import sorting system design and application research were including the following five aspects:(1) Using status and optimization demands of sorting data:Do a survey of format and existing way of sorting data in the automatic sorting and manual sorting business and analyze existing problems during the use process as well as discusses the use and management optimization requirements for sorting data.(2) Study of imported sorting system application requirements:Determine system supporting network sorting, automated sorting of kinds of mails, quality control of manual sorting and specific demands for sorting staff according to the characteristic of various types of mail sorting process, combining with the automatic mail sorting equipment and the function of information system.(3) Sorting data updating business process design and system development requirement:Analyze system demand in data maintenance, applied and updating according to postal enterprises department set from the point of business process and data processing. Clarify division of responsibility in each department and analyzing system development requirements result from this part.(4) System overall function and database structure design:Determine mail import sorting system overall function and collaborating way of relevant information system. Design the composition of system database and data content. And then decide each data content structure.(5) Implementation and application of mail import sorting system:Decide overall architecture of system design, the information flow, the logical structure of applied software and system network architecture as well as implementation scheme of each module.
