The virtual prototype technology is a kind of digitization design method which isbased on the product computer simulation model, its application makes it possible thatthe designer, in early time of the product development, carries on the optimal designand performance test to the hypothesized product in the virtual environment vividlyintuitively and so on, which basically does not consume the resources and the energyand can improve the design quality greatly and speed up the product developmentcycle.Development of virtual prototype project especially large virtual prototypeproject, currently used for concurrent engineering working mode, this mode there is aneed for improved data management method, the virtual prototype project requires aset of product data management system (PDM) and allocation of professional graphicscards with computer. For small and medium enterprises, due to funding problemsdifficult to use development on product data management system, resulting in thevirtual prototype project development, a lot of data management problems that thework efficiency is low or even stagnation, which severely inhibited the growth ofsmall and medium enterprises innovation capability and the research work.This paper studies how to no data management system, the use of professionalgraphics cards ordinary computer to complete the sugar leaf bundling machine virtualprototype development project, solve large virtual prototype development projectprocess data confusion and data calculation problem, and use the virtual prototypingtechnology was solved successfully sugarcane leaf bundling machine at workappeared in the course of machine problems.The conclusion of this paper can be as small or medium enterprises in virtualprototype development project to provide a relatively efficient developme nt method,or for other virtual prototype project provides examples of reference.
