The university library is taking important role for both teaching and research. With the revolution of environment, the researching model and study access have changed, resulting in the traditional services of library not to cater the needs. The libraries have to positively face the reality of heavily crisis, or to perish. So, a growing number of libraries are seeking to improve the traditional services which is centering on collection resource, adjusting the structure of document resource, the space and human capital. Under the driving force of user and technology, the model of the information commons has been proposed by library scientist, that assembles plenty of information resource, knowledge professional, consultancy experts, intelligence experts, computer, multimedia, lab and so on. It provides a platform for user to communicate and training of information literacy ect.After the developing of more than ten years, the information commons has been a main model to library service, with a perfect theory, and being structured by many libraries. It is moving toward various forms, at the same time, some news formed. This paper bases on visual analysis with citespaceⅡ, to find out the developing process and tendency of information commons. It indicates that the information commons has transformed into inter-organization and cross-region, where the collaboration ability is the key factor. The paper analyzes the affection factors of collaboration and users’behavior in information commons, containing the subject and object, and medium, and effects in the collaboration, with making use of questionnaire survey and relevance analysis. Based on the information commons service model, integrating the theories of library2.0and collaboration and knowledge management, this article is to propose a collaboration model for scattered research teams and study groups, and analysizes the circulation of knowledge in study and research process. The collaboration service model supports the communication, sharing, collaboration and innovation.In the end of the paper, with analysizing of cases, it further illuminates that the model is available.
