University Libraries Digital Resource Alliance Based On Game Theory Procurement Optimization

Along with the rapid development of the Internet,a variety of valuable digital resources not only a drastic increase in the number, the price is rising year by year. Faced with the reality of a number of libraries of colleges and universities can not be independent of the burden of the costs of procurement of the digital resources as well as the reality of the rapid growth of the demand for digital resources, more and more libraries of colleges and universities purchase of various digital resources by the way of joining or formation the digital resources purchasing alliance. Although the introduction of the digital resources by forming purchasing alliances make digital resources protection greatly improved, but there are still some problems plagued alliances procurement we need in-depth studies, such as the main balance of interests of the participating procurement.The thesis discusses the status of the development of domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning alliances procurement, and game theory for alliances procurement feasibility. This thesis make the bargaining negotiations process from suppliers of digital resources and digital resources purchasing alliances as the starting point then combed the process of the negotiations.On the basis of above,thesis establish a game theory model and obtain the Nash equilibrium for the negotiations and analyzes the factors what affect both the game proceeds.Through introduction three classic game model,expand the game analysis to balance of interests between three different sizes of procurement alliance member libraries and analysis the reason which impact of the motivation of libraries participate alliance procurement below the environment of information resources sharing. Finally, based on the foregoing analysis summed up the eight recommendations will enable the alliance procurement benign development.Purpose of this exploration is to promote the procurement career of our institutions of higher learning digital resources have more healthy development.Meanwhile,the exploration also has the certain significance to promotion the literature and information resources sharing becomes more effective and more positive.
