The design and implementation of hardware and software of Micro-arc oxidation powersupply based on DSP and ARM were described in this article. After the research anddevelopment status of Micro-arc oxidation power supply were introduced, the overall structureof control system, especially the hardware and software were discussed. In the hardware circuitof the whole system, the overall designs of power conversion circuit and hardware circuit ofcontrol system were described, besides, the implementation process and parameter calculation ofthe thyristor rectifier and the IGBT inverter were analyzed, and some other circuits based onTMS320F2812, such as the drive circuit, the detection circuit, the protection circuit and theauxiliary control functions. The design of software in control system included several parts, suchas the PWM produced program by TMS320F2812, the AD correction, software protection andthe design method of Man-machine interactive interface based on S3C2410. The touch screenbased on the embedded Linux operation system could realize data inputting and data displaying,and complete the serial communication between TMS320F2812and S3C2410.After verification, the Micro-arc oxidation power supply based on TMS320F2812andS3C2410achieved the technical indicators, and the quality and reliability of the power supplywere confirmed during actual operation.
