Micro-Oxidation is a new method for surface treatment. The surface layer which is formed by this technology has excellent physical-chemical features, such as excellent bonding strength with the substrate, high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high thermal shock resistance, good electric insulation layer, higher breakdown voltage. More and more scholars' interesting has been aroused in the field of material surface treatment for the technology of Micro-Oxidation. The power source used in this technology is the micro-oxidation power.In the research of Micro-oxidation power, the traditional embedded monitoring system of Micro-oxidation power is primarily based on the single-chip microcomputer hardware vector design, which is function relatively single,visualization, and limited scalability. For the continuous improvement of monitoring system, it was not only to improve our existing equipment, and optimize the system efficiency, but also to make the Micro-oxidation power more easy operationed and intelligence, all which has important meaning to the commercial expansion and application of Micro-oxidation power. This new monitoring system selects S3C2440 based on ARM920T kernel which is the core of hardware part. The software part has adopted operating system Linux which the source code is opned. It achieves the original microcontroller functions, visualization and scalability stronger, also equipped with the network communication function.The propose of this paper is to establish a embedded linux monitoring based on ARM.This paper describes the system design and development process of the platform, mainly includes four parts. Firstly,the thesis summarizes the characters of micro-oxidation power and embedded linux, and elaborates the development process of embedded linux software. Secondly presents the hardware design of developing platform in detail, Some function blocks are included such as Can Bus, Ethernetinterface and USB,then the design process of the platform is discussed,the chip selection and function blocks are also included.Thirdly on the base of hardware, platform, tells of the process of developing Linux and work needed to do porting Linux to a special platform, including Porting vivi, compiling and trimming Linux kernel,making file system, design of Linux drivers in detail.Final details in Qt, how to use C++ language designed monitoring system graphical interface,the software design process for clues on the object to the programming model, pop-up dialog design, the driver of the call. Then the paper illustrates the design of the remote monitoring which based on the embedded webserver. The study proved to be effective and real-time.
