Traditional basic businesses of human resource management in universities are position structure management, recruitment management, salary management, and other businesses, the characteristics of which are simple but repetive. With the rapid development of higher education, work content and service requirements of human resources management in universities increase significantly. Therefore, Information Technology can be used to increase work efficiency and improve service quality of the human resource management in universities subject to the reformation and development of universities. This article takes S University as an example. Data platform of standard human resource management business process is designed and constructed, interior and exterior data management related to human resource centralized in accordance with human resource business requirement of S University. And on this basis, query and pivot and data analysis are put forward.The footstone of data warehouse is ETL (Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading). ETL is mainly used for integrating all kinds of heterogeneous data sources. Unified dimensional model, ETL and data application are research focuses in this article. The importance of data platform is that they offer a data environment for OLAP and data mining. Finally we take S University’s B campus as an example to verify functional of data platform.
