Since the reform and opening up, the rapid development of layer industry in China, the industrial structure has been obtained in optimization and adjustment. Since thebeginning of the mid-1980s, China’s the hens production has been the first in the world. Incontrast, however, it is not commensurate level of industrial development of China’s henscompared to the advanced countries of the world there are still a large gap between China’slayer industry is still dominant position in large groups of small-scale model of industrialmanagement and device technology lags behind, leading to a lower level of laying hensbreeding. Due to the lower quality of the breeders, old ideas and do not have the financialstrength and technological strength. On layer industry in China coupled with insufficientinvestment in science and technology, practicality have yielded few results, causingenvironmental control is not ideal for sheds, coop temperature and humidity and indoor airquality not up to standard, caused by livestock and poultry to be infected as well as thenegative consequences of declining egg production, and so on. Changes in a timely mannerto the monitoring of the henhouse environment (especially temperature and humidity) andmake timely adjustment, to the health of the chickens and egg production will be of greathelp. Therefore, the need for timely and quick determination of environmental parametersin chicken house, through the ventilation measures to ensure that appropriate temperatureand humidity inside the sheds maintained at an appropriate level to avoid the deteriorationof the henhouse environment. Our hen coop environmental factors including temperature values, humidity values, light intensity, the content of harmful gases, dust content, including the most basic andmost important elements is the coop temperature values and humidity values.Thetraditional method of measuring temperature and humidity more for manual sampling, orheld manually measuring means repeatedly measured. This traditional method ofmeasuring only the data of the coop environment of a particular point in time and frequentmobile measurement will produce large errors, so that measurement results are not accurateenough. Based on this problem, this paper developed a henhouse temperature and humiditymonitoring system based on ATmega16. Through the hardware measurement circuit basedon SHT21sensor as the core and the corresponding computer software system to realizethe automatic detection and data management function. The system has the advantages ofsimple operation, small workload, low cost, and high temperature and humiditymeasurement compared with traditional accuracy. Man-machine interface is friendly, it can be real-time monitoring of temperature and humidity data computer and save the real-timemeasurement data.Temperature and humidity monitoring system detected this paper sheds where thetemperature and humidity values with data analysis and pre-processing. And then weintegrated processing the temperature and humidity with the MATLAB, make the use ofleast-squares fitting algorithm for data and an analysis of the results forecast, to concludethat poultry house temperature and humidity simulation formula. Result verificationshowed that the design is reasonable, less errors, research results are indicative of thestrong and can be operational, easy for practical use.
