Study On The Network Voice Right Of Student From Democratic College Management Visual Angle

As the customers of the higher education services, college students are the core stakeholders of college at the same time. For this reason, students have reasonable and legal right to participate in the management of colleges and universities. However, the right of student is weak under the powerful effect of executive and academic power. After reading some studies of former experts, the author finds that most of their studies focus on theoretical things like the background and context of students’management and others pay their attention on the student groups’effect. In other words, they focus on the study of the whole power of student groups not on individual student’s power.With the growing feeling of democracy, students try to participate in the management of colleges and universities. The internet technology developed very quickly in these years, students like to participate in the management of colleges through the convenient and fast network. Bulletin Board System (BBS) of colleges is a kind of platform which built on the campus network. Students can get and release information through this kind of BBS. College BBS is freer than traditional medium, it provides a good place for student to talk with each other freely. With the help of college BBS, the voice right of student become powerful, and students look much more like the master of college.In this article, the author analysis some reasons about students’love for BBS, then combined with some specific examples to explain the voice right of student. The network voice right of student could be explained from the following points:the right of media access, the right of internet communication and the right of information acquisition. After doing some research, the author admits that the voice right of student has been absolutory improved on college BBS, but there are still some problems on it such as the limit right of expression and acknowledgment. However, there is still some place for the network voice right of student to improve. In the fourth part of the article, some specific advices about how to enhance the network voice right of student on the college BBS are listed. It is the practical value of this article.First, enhance students’ abilities of using internet. Only in this way, it is possible for students to participate in the management of college. Second, find some good ways for students’ management. If students want to use their voice right to participate in the management, they should find some good ways. Third, build some reasonable rules. The good rules are guarantee of students’ voice right, this kind of rules make sure students’ management become effectively. Finally, promote the quality of students’management. If students can not use their right well, there will be no need to participate in the college management. Otherwise, students’ management would become a disaster.
