Microblogging is not only part of the network media system, and also has its uniquecharacteristic of structure. In the framework of the network media ecology, themicroblogging media ecology consists of three parts: the information factor, the main factorsand the environmental factor. The relationship between the microblogging and other forms ofmedia such as the Internet media and the traditional media is interacting. At the same time,microblogging plays an important role in the entire media ecological system.Information pollution is one of the problems in the microblogging media ecology. Theconcept of information pollution comes from the information ecology theory, at the sametime, the information pollution is one of the forms of expression of the Internet ecologicalcrisis. The information pollution has a negative influence on people and the overall balanceof information and information environment. The information pollution of Microbloggin ismainly included of the rumors and false information, spam and inferior marketinginformation, tort illegal information, and redundant information. The information pollution ofMicroblogging comprehensively displays the features of chain pollution, cross-contamination,and the counterproductive for pollution control.The information factor, subject factor and environmental factor of the Microbloggingmedia ecology respectively constitute reasons of information pollution. Information pollutionof Microblogging has had varying degrees of damage on itself and the internet media and thetraditional media, the audience, and even the social environment. Current control measures ofinformation pollution mainly are the technical measures and the System-level measures, thetwo measures have played a role in controlling, but they also have some shortcomings. So, tofurther control information pollution, we must improve the current measures and makeconcrete analysis of concrete conditions to reduce the information pollution of microbloggingecological environment actually.
